About Snuggle

Snuggle pet beds...because every pet deserves to be spoilt!

Snuggle pet beds is my labour of love.  I am a veterinary nurse with not just a passion for caring for animals, but also for fabrics and colour. It had been a dream of mine for some years to start a pet bed making business and then when the time was right, I started Snuggle pet beds in 2022. I had wanted my dog beds to compliment my decor style, as they are often out for all to see. I therefore decided to design pet beds using a fabric that I know and love.

All the beds are locally hand made with high quality, durable, wide weave corduroy fabric. They come in many happy, vibrant colours to suit every taste. Colours are subject to availability as I rely on what is commercially available at any given time.

Inners are made with sturdy fabric and are filled with recycled, shredded foam chips.

Please be advised there may be slight differences in sizes as all the fabrics are cut and sewed by hand. Also, dimensions of the beds are measured from seam to seam, but once inner has been inserted, the bed will puff up and "shrink" a bit.

All our beds are machine washable - the covers have a zip for convenience and the inners are machine washable too. We also give you the option of ordering a waterproof inner for super messy pups!

In June 2024, my beds became available in some Ebervet Vet shops and clinics. This meant that I had to start thinking about expanding my sewing team. For the past two years I have been the only sewer. Now, in order to keep up with orders and my day job as a veterinary nurse, I had to find some help. I was fortunate to be put in touch with Themba Training, who do a wonderful job in up-skilling people and helping them on their way to financial independence.

They are dedicated to empowering surrounding communities, by equiping them to earn an income through skills training. Once trained, they assist and encourage them to use these skills to support their families by opening small businesses or getting a job in the formal or informal economy.
